Shego is a villainess who operates as a criminal mercenary, working for Dr. Drakken as his chief enforcer and henchwoman/sidekick. Since her main duty to Drakken entails stealing things on his request and protecting him from harm, she frequently engages Team Possible in battle, and although she is under contract with the scientist, Shego has occasionally (temporarily) worked with other villains as well, including Motor Ed and Señor Senior, Junior.
Physical Appearance
Shego is a tall woman with a curvaceous hourglass figure, and long, hip-length black hair, piercing forest-green eyes, faded light green-skin, and black lips.
In terms of attire, Shego is always seen with a green-black color scheme; her signature attire consists of a full-length, tight-fitting high-collared catsuit that sported an asymmetrical harlequin pattern that is colored in black and bright light green. She also wore one glove and one boot of each color, and an accessorized utility pouch which is strapped around her lower left leg.
Not counting outfits worn during her journey across Cable channels, Shego has been seen wearing:

Career
Though Shego's career constantly involves her stealing various items and evading capture, she is one of the most recognized villains in the series. Numerous victims have been able to provide detailed descriptions of her, easily recalling either her glowing green hands[1], or her overall beauty.[2] Several males have commented on how attractive they find her[3][4][5], which Shego occasionally uses to her advantage, both while on vacation[6] or when in disguise.[7]
Personality
Shego has an explosive temper, and is known to react with violence, or at least the threat of it, over even slight offenses, depending on the person responsible.
Shego typically has a very abrasive nature, in that she enjoys teasing or outright insulting those around her. While some of this is lighthearted and, in many cases, simply a way for her to pass the time, she seems to enjoy the constant putting down of her preferred targets: Dr. Drakken, Kim Possible, and Ron Stoppable. All three provide constant sources of irritation for her, Drakken with his either overly complex or seriously under-thought plans, and Team Possible because they manage to disrupt or defeat her repeatedly. But while her treatment of Drakken is based more on how easy he is to insult, she views Kim more like a heated rival, and Ron as a momentary distraction at best.
Shego appears to take a great deal of pride and enjoyment in being evil. She is, according to several characters and HenchCo.'s Check Your Badness Level device, both eviler than Drakken, and has been shown to be a far greater threat to the world at large than him, despite her repeatedly being labeled as his sidekick. Many of Drakken's plans are so frustrating to Shego simply because they are not evil enough. In comparison to her, Drakken is more of a playground bully, as his plans had revolved around lashing out specifically at those he feels have wronged him, rather than actually trying to take over the world. As a result, she repeatedly reaches the point where she loses her patience with him and storms out to cool off for a while before returning to work.
Despite usually being more evil than Drakken, Shego has, at some degree, a higher moral compass than him, as she was completely against Drakken and Motor Ed's plan on stealing Felix's wheelchair for their Doomvee[4] and, although she still went along with it, she was still greatly displeased at how low Drakken went. While on Christmas vacation, she offers to pay a resort attendant with her credit card[8], only to find that Drakken paid fully for her vacation, which she expresses gratitude towards him. She refuses to breach her contract which forbids any use of her DNA when Drakken proposes the idea of cloning her. She expressed great disbelief and disappointment in Kim for lying to her parents and Ron[9]. She also seemed to genuinely care for Drakken's mother as she showed concern for her well-being when Drakken accidentally left her behind on a train, in addition, to never expressing her true nature towards her[10]. Furthermore, Shego has shown some level of concern for animals as she felt what happened to the fish[2] in the Great Lakes after they were drained was important and she had once lectured Drakken on taking care of his dog, Commodore Puddles. During the two times when she was dropped into water tanks with dangerous animals, she did not use her powers to fight or escape them. When Señor Senior Jr. broke her out of prison to help him commit a series of crimes in honor of his father's birthday, she expresses gratitude towards him.[11]
Although she is fearless, Shego shows hints of fear. For instance, in "Mind Games", when Drakken, in Private Dobbs' body, gets mad at her for letting Kim and Ron take his body with Dobbs in it, causing her to sheepishly giggle and grin, in "A Sitch in Time", when Ron found out that Future Shego and her time traveling was the reason why he and his parents moved to Norway and why he was forced to eat Meat Cakes, he became angry about it and the destruction of his favorite restaurant, which made Shego actually show fear for a moment, in "Bad Boy", when Ron was about to drop her into the shark tank, in "The Big Job", when she was facing alligators in the Señor Seniors' pit, and in "Graduation, Part 2", when Ron asked her if she felt scared when she went from hero to villain, Shego replied that she doesn't get scare, however, when she saw Warmonga and Warhok's alien spaceship, she took back what she said and commented "THAT is scary", when seeing the spaceship.
Background
Shego has four brothers, Hego, Mego, and the Wego twins. When Shego and her brothers were young, they were struck by a rainbow comet while in their family tree house, granting them superpowers. Shortly thereafter, they formed Team Go, a crime-fighting family in the mold of a classic superhero team. Together, they took on the responsibility of defending Go City from the forces of evil. According to Hego however, the more they fought villainy, the more Shego began to like evil implying that that was her reason for leaving the team. But Shego herself mentioned that her main reason for leaving was that she became fed up with her brothers, mostly Hego in particular. Hego was apparently a major contributing factor in Shego leaving the team. He was so annoying that after five minutes Ron said "I'm starting to see why Shego split".[12]
Most likely at some point before she turned to evil, Shego became fully credentialed in Child Development.[5] Her possession of this degree may imply that she had at least in her younger days planned to take a job involving children but having to deal with her immature brothers for so many years may have caused her to abandon this career choice.
Between the time that she left Team Go and her first encounter with Kim Possible, Shego had eleven countries swear out warrants for her arrest.[13] Eventually, Shego found employment with Dr. Drakken, supposedly because he paid well.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Shego has great control over her powers, as seen here as she charges an energy-ball for an explosive impact.
- Energy Manipulation/Production: Shego's superpower, her 'Go Team Glow', is the ability to manipulate and generate bright green energy with her hands. This energy could be used to heat or melt anything she touched with varying levels of effectiveness from firing a bolts that stun people, launch powerful energy balls that explode upon impact; similar to a modern day grenade/bomb, or fire it as a direct energy beam. These ranged from precision shots to explosive impacts roughly on par with modern grenades. She has also been seen using her "Go Team Glow" to make people unconscious with one touch in The Twin Factor. However, after heavy usage, Shego would begin to tire, as seen during an early brawl between her and Kim Possible while raiding a military facility.[14] Additionally, Shego could greatly enhance her natural strength and is capable of delivering energy strikes powerful enough to rend steel. She can use her energy with her physical combat, causing serious lethal burns and radiation upon impact.
- Enhanced Superhuman Durability: In addition to her energy powers, Shego was an extremely durable individual, able to withstand wide arrays of punishment on a regular basis, and allows her to survive situations of dangerous calamitous destruction that would've probably killed other characters. Most notably, in "So the Drama", she survived when she was kicked off a tall building and slamming into an electrical tower, electrocuting her before collapsing on top of her, which she emerged alive from with only frazzled hair and slightly torn clothes.[15]
- Team Go powers control (temporarily): When Shego briefly gained all of her brothers Team Go's powers she was able to use them immediately in combat to great effect and mix them together as when she had her brother Mego shrinking ability she was also able to use it to grow bigger than her opponents but this was possibly with the aid of her other brothers powers. This made her nearly impossible to defeat in hand-to-hand combat and it took literally a big distraction to knock the Power Staff out of her hands, thus giving her brother's powers back and her own back to her.
Abilities
- Skilled Fighter: Even when not using her powers, Shego is an elite hand-to-hand combatant who regularly defeated trained guards, operatives, and heroes with little difficulty. And though she and Kim rarely fought to a stalemate, both have won as well as loss to each other on several occasions with Kim's prevailing over Shego as usually narrow victories and/or the result of outside intervention - typically of Ron's doing. She was also a skilled pilot who could fly an array of aircraft[12] and a capable of SCUBA diving.
- Effective Strategist: Among the villain community, Shego is considered a far more effective strategist and partner than Drakken, as evidenced by how often she alone was liberated from prison by former colleagues, while Drakken was left behind.
- Espionage Skills: Shego is well versed with infiltration operations, often breaking into various high-security facilities throughout the series. Shego appeared to be fairly good at disguising herself, although since there were reportedly only two green women on the planet[16] and she never made any effort to conceal her skin, it could also be assumed that the people she fooled were either distracted by her beauty[7] or highly unobservant.
- Stealth Tactics: Shego is an expert in all kinds of fields, with infiltration and sabotage as her specialties.
- Martial Arts: Possessing extensive martial arts skills. Her impressive fitness and agility, her abilities rival the skills of her nemesis, Kim Possible. Even her physical fighting attributes are a match with Kim, but they were no match for her in her battle suit.
- Expert Pilot: She also seems to be an expert pilot, having been seen piloting Drakken's flying car on several occasions as well as a jet plane in "So the Drama", and the Go plane in "Go Team Go".
- Teaching Skills: While she was normally unable to make use of it due to her career in evil and multiple warrants, she has proven to be an excellent teacher when given the chance. Shego was able to tutor Señor Senior, Junior, and was entirely responsible for turning him into a capable villain.[1] While under the influence of Electronique's Reverse Polarizer, she also briefly taught at Middleton High School as substitute teacher Miss Go.[5]

Trivia
- Her real name, along with those of her brothers, was never revealed. However, "Shego" means "One With Fire", which is very suitable for her.
- Her last name is indeed 'Go', as revealed in "Stop Team Go". During the brief time she was good, Shego taught at Middleton as Miss Go.
- Interestingly, when she carves a heart into Dr. Drakken's lair in "Emotion Sickness" under the effects of the Moodulator, her initials are "SG", hinting that her last name as 'Go' before the events of "Stop Team Go".
- Her last name is indeed 'Go', as revealed in "Stop Team Go". During the brief time she was good, Shego taught at Middleton as Miss Go.
- In " Rappin' Drakken", Shego seems to be a fan of MC Honey, seeing as she enjoys listening to her hip hop songs and she was dismayed that Drakken did not get her an autograph from MC Honey when he met her.[18]
- The trademark energy that Shego is known for is probably radioactively-based due to the glow she and her brothers can produce when using their respective powers.
- The origin of Shego's powers was originally stated to be strictly from her gloves by the Disney website. This was retconned in the Season 2 episode "Go Team Go", where it was revealed that Shego's abilities are an actual superpower, and that her usual uniform is actually her original attire from when she was a member of Team Go.
- Of course, those who ran the website were neither producers nor writers of the show, so the canonical authenticity was always suspect.
- Before her origin backstory was explained, fans speculated that she was not really human and was a she-predator.
- Her history as a superheroine is not a public knowledge.
- While Shego's exact age was never revealed and although it is not outright pinpointed exactly how old she really is, it has been confirmed that she is in her early 20s, and according to Ron, she looked far too old to have been in high school at the same time as himself and Kim, saying that she's a lot older than a Senior, and a lot older than him and Kim (in "Clean Slate" and "Stop Team Go"). Shego, however, attributed her older appearance to her love of sunbathing.[19]
- While known to be virtually fearless, Shego has displayed fear twice. The common element of both implies Shego has a "healthy respect" for dangerous animals:
- Despite her significantly higher evil personality, Shego also seems, to some degree, to have a moral compass, as demonstrated in "Steal Wheels", "A Very Possible Christmas", "Kimitation Nation", "October 31st", "Mother's Day", and "The Big Job".
- In "Steal Wheels". While Drakken seems interested in his cousin's plan and eager to steal Felix's optimized wheelchair, Shego opposes the idea, questioning whether Drakken would really stoop low enough to steal from a handicapped teen, but she still went along with it when Drakken reminded her that they're evil and he's a bad man.
- In "A Very Possible Christmas". While on Christmas vacation, she offers to pay a resort attendant with her credit card, only to find that Drakken fully paid for her vacation as his way to thank her, for which she expresses gratitude towards him.
- In "Kimitation Nation". When Drakken proposes the idea of cloning her, Shego presents to him her contract in which under it forbids any use of her DNA and she refuses to breach her contract.
- In "October 31st". When Shego found out Kim lied to her parents and Ron, she expresses disbelief and disappointment in her for not telling the truth to her parents and best friend.
- In "Mother's Day". When Drakken forgot about his mother and accidentally almost leaves her behind on the train, Shego expresses great concern for her well-being in addition to never expressing her true nature towards her.
- In "The Big Job". When Señor Senior Jr. breaks Shego out of prison to help him commit a series of crimes in honor of his father's birthday, she expresses gratitude towards him despite being confused on why he broke her out of prison at first.
- Shego is the only villain in the series who successfully takes over the world, as seen in "A Sitch in Time".
- Although, it was technically Future Shego from a possible future world and not Present Day Shego who took over world (and the reason why Ron moved to Norway). Seeing as Shego from present day is usually seen as the sidekick character, as she would usually pointedly avoid falling into the classic villain clichés, such as relying on her minions to fight her enemies, despite retaining her combat skills, and when she was persuaded by Drakken, gloating to defeating enemies instead of following her normal preference for the "direct approach".
- Shego has cried twice during the series, but each time she was not herself: In "Emotion Sickness," she was under the control of the Moodulator, a device created by a scientist named Dr. Cyrus Bortel, while in "Stop Team Go" she was under the effects of the Reverse Polarizer, Jack Hench's new & improved, and renamed, Attitudinator which Electronique rewired and stole.
- On several occasions, Shego was seen filing her nails for more deadly use in battle, but is almost always wearing gloves.
- Shego's catsuit and two-tone color scheme is similar to the villainess from DC Comics Harley Quinn's red and black two-tone color scheme, who is the henchwoman of the Joker. Ironically, Shego and Drakken's relationship also appears to be similar to the Joker and Harley's, except more of the opposite (with Shego not being madly in-love with Drakken).
- If wearing gloves, Shego is not filing her nails. She is filing her gloves. Fanon suggests her gloves have either metal claw tips, and or ports for focusing her power at fingertips; so what she may be doing is keeping them clean and clear.
- Shego is Kim's most fought villain.
- Shego is one of the most popular characters in the show, even beating out Kim Possible herself.
- Shego has been arrested several times and her booking number was "11734".[13]
- Shego was busted out of prison twice in season four. Once by Motor Ed[21] and another time by Señor Senior Jr.[11]
- Shego and Señor Senior Jr. have worked together twice. The first time to where she tutored Junior to become more evil and more powerful than he usually was and the second time to where Junior needed her help to commit a huge crime as a gift for his father's birthday.
- Shego is the third villain to enter the Possible House, and the only one to enter twice, the first being "Go Team Go" and the second being "Stop Team Go," both times coincidentally having to do with Shego and Team Go, and her being temporarily good.
- Shego has helped Kim on three missions:
- Defeating the Team Go enemy: Aviarius. But afterward, Shego betrayed both her brothers and Kim.
- Stopping another Team Go villain: Electronique. But, under the effects of the Reverse Polarizer/Attituinator, she was not her normal self.
- Saving the world, along with Drakken and Ron, from an alien invasion by Warmonga and Warhok.
- Unlike her four brothers, Shego is the only member of Team Go whose glow does not normally encompass her whole body. This is likely because her brothers' powers are full-body powers, while hers are only in her hands.
- Only Shego and Mego wear the ankle pouch. Hego and the Wegos, except for two aberrant production error frames, do not have it as part of their uniforms.
- Despite wearing one on Halloween, mainly as a disguise to try and track down Kim at that time, Shego was the only member of Team Go who did not wear a mask in an early group picture of the team in Go Team Go. It should be noted that the Halloween mask was not the same shade of black as on her catsuit, so presumably not an old part of her outfit.
- Because she was a no-show (along with Mego and the Wegos) in "Mathter and Fervent", the Mathter was the only Team Go villain Shego did not fight.
- As revealed in "The Mentor of Our Discontent", Shego loves hydrangeas.
- Oddly enough, Martin Smarty was the only person Shego appeared to have a serious interest in pursuing a relationship with, even if is only for his financial worth. She showed a love interest in Mr. Barkin, but she was not her real self at that time, whereas she was a good person while she was under the effects of Electronique's Reverse Polarizer.
- Although she had a fake interest in Barkin and a real, though temporarily, one in Martin Smarty, Motor Ed was the only person who had an interest in her when she had no real interest in him. Motor Ed was also the only bad guy/villain to have a love interest in her.
- Strangely enough, Dr. Drakken and Mr. Barkin were the only people Shego had a fake love interest in, to where she was basically not herself. She was in love with Drakken when she was under the control of Dr. Cyrus Bortel's Moodulator, and later with Barkin while being under the effects of Electronique's Reverse Polarizer. Ironically, Shego was implied to have developed romantic feelings for Dr. Drakken during the Lowardian invasion.
- Despite making a cameo appearance in "Oh Boyz" and appearing only in the end credits sequence of "Larry's Birthday", Shego was seen in only two episodes without using her glow:
- "Blush" (which was actually seen briefly)
- "Rewriting History
- Shego was seen wearing a dress in three episodes:
- "So the Drama"
- "The Mentor of Our Discontent"
- "Graduation, Part 2"
- Her pallid skin tone complexion is a very light yellow, although it appears different in different tones when in darker aspects of light.
- Miss Go, the "good Shego", and Steve Barkin's short-lived relationship may have stemmed back to their voice actors previously working together in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command where Nicole Sullivan voiced Mira Nova and Patrick Warburton as the title character.
- Shego appears in only one episode without Dr. Drakken: "Adventures in Rufus-Sitting".
- In "So the Drama," Shego was supposed to die after Kim kicked her into the tower and electrocuted her to death, but test audiences said it would be too violent and dark. So it was decided to have her survive it.
- In "Stop Team Go", it is revealed that Shego has a degree in child development. It does not say how she got it or if she went to school for it.
Alternate Versions
Miss Go
During Kim's Senior year, Electronique, one of Team Go's old foes, broke out of prison. She lured the entire team, Shego included, into a trap, and shot them with a beam from Jack Hench's Attitudinator, newly modified into her Reverse Polarizer. However, Electronique was unaware that Shego had become a villain, so while Shego's brothers were turned evil by the blast, Shego became good.
In an effort to escape her evil brothers, Shego ran away and resurfaced as Miss Go, a substitute teacher at Middleton High School. She was, as expected, the virtual opposite of her former self: friendly, polite, and eager to help others. In addition, she actually was a fully credentialed teacher with a degree in Child Development, a little-known accomplishment from her former life. Miss Go won overnight popularity at school with her cheerful "girly" attitude, becoming close friends with Kim Possible and also catching the romantic interest of Steve Barkin. Kim described the good Shego as a "big sister".[5]
Oddly enough, even once she was reverted back to her evil self, Shego momentarily showed implied attachments to them. She briefly appeared to reminisce over her friendship with Kim before incinerating the pictures of their time together, and did not immediately activate Drakken's security system when Barkin came to serenade her, at least not until she heard how awful his singing was.[5]
The Supreme One
Shego was notably the only villain to have actually succeeded in taking over the world, albeit with assistance from a Mystical Monkey Powered idol known as the Tempus Simia, or "Time Monkey", and advice from her future self.
In this possible future world, Shego adopted the title: "The Supreme One", and ruled the world with a cruel yet lazy hand. Notably, however, in this timeline; it also saw her fall into the classic villain clichés, which present time Shego otherwise pointedly avoided. Such as relying on her minions to fight her enemies, despite retaining her combat skills, and when she was persuaded by Drakken, gloating to defeating enemies instead of following her normal preference for the "direct approach". The only time Shego was shown using her powers in the possible future world was when she stopped Ron from reaching the Time Monkey and when she attempted to stop Kim and Ron from being sent back to their own time, but was easily knocked away with a kick from Kim. This failing resulted in the destruction of that future and nearly flawlessly resets the timeline.[22]
Relationships
Family
Team Go
Her relationship with her brothers is less than stellar. It was not seen how well she gets along with her youngest brothers, the Wegos, as she doesn't address them directly at any point. But she shows open disdain for her two other brothers, Hego and Mego.
She apparently used to get along well enough with them to be part of Team Go, however, Hego claimed that the more they fought villainy the more Shego liked it. However, Shego herself revealed that her main reason for quiting the team, was that she became fed up with her brothers' incompetence and she could not stand working with them anymore, or at least Hego and Mego. Hego was also apparently a major contributing factor in Shego quiting the team. Between Mego's selfishness and Hego's cartoonish approach to heroism, even Ron Stoppable admits that they are annoying, especially Hego, as he was able to see why she would leave the team, saying "I'm starting to see why Shego split".
It was also implied that despite Shego being an evil villainess, she still cared about her brothers. Both Kim and Drakken noted that it was incredibly easy for Kim to get the power staff used to steal all the powers of the members of Team Go from her. Drakken later suggested Shego secretly wanted to lose and that she didn't truly have it in her to betray her brothers in such a manner. He shared this with Shego directly, with the result of her tossing him out of the giant robot that they were flying in, leaving him to cling tightly to its feet.
Friends and allies
Dr. Drakken
Shego was a mercenary for hire, most often shown to be in the employment of Dr. Drakken, though she did on occasion work with and for other villains (temporarily), especially those who broke her out of prison for that very reason. Her relationship with Dr. Drakken bordered on bizarre. Early on in the series, Shego was shown to be more respectful toward the mad scientist, however, as time went on, she seemed to take an increasingly dominant role in the partnership, going as far to bully her "boss" into abiding to her wishes. She was often hypercritical of Drakken’s plans and openly mocks his decisions, and seemingly tolerated Drakken’s antics for the "mocking gold" his schemes granted her. Shego's relationship with Dr. Drakken borders on bizarre. Early on in the series, she is shown to be more respectful toward the mad scientist, however, as time goes on, she seems to take an increasingly dominant role in the partnership, going as far as to bully her "boss" into abiding her wishes. She is often hypercritical of Drakken's plans and openly mocks his decisions, seemingly tolerating Drakken's antics for the 'mocking-gold' his schemes grant her. On several occasions, Shego takes an action to ridicule Drakken only for him to use it in his scheme.
Shego is dismayed when this occurs as her ridicule has backlash on her. Shego does not appear to be capable of love, kindness, or compassion, as seen when she viciously punishes Drakken after he suggests she is "going soft". Nevertheless, despite her dominant role and critical attitude towards him, Shego remained somewhat subordinate to Drakken as she would follow most his orders and helped him with his plans, even the ones that were ridiculous with the exception of his idea to clone her. Drakken has, on numerous occasions, expressed the desire for Shego to be more supportive in his endeavors, having used mind control devices to ensure her obedience and even temporarily replaced her as sidekick with the alien, Warmonga. Although Drakken is smarter than Shego when it comes to science, Shego is in many ways smarter than Drakken in other areas of life, such as making plans. She has stayed with Drakken as it allows her to combat and ridicule Kim when they verbally and physically clash.
Despite their tumultuous past, Shego has repeatedly returned to Drakken to work for him. The two have demonstrated a certain amount of deranged fondness for the other and seem to somewhat care about each other, as Drakken even referred to her as a member of his "evil family". Shego ultimately does legitimately care for Drakken, as she was frightened when he was abducted by aliens, and later when she recruited Ron Stoppable and James Possible to save him from an Alien spaceship. Shego has also saved Drakken's life several times. In "A Very Possible Christmas", while on her Christmas vacation, she offers to pay a resort attendant with her credit card, only to find that Drakken's fully paid for her vacation to cover her whole vacation as his way of saying "Thanks for super year" and "Merry Christmas" when she read his letter, which she expresses gratitude towards him, and when Shego later learned that Drakken is in the North Pole, after checking her voice mail message, she went there to find him. When Shego lost her powers to Aviarius, Drakken stormed his "nest" with a giant mech, intent on rescuing her. On several occasions, Shego takes an action to ridicule Drakken only for Drakken to use it in his scheme. Shego is dismayed when this occurs as her ridicule has backlash on her. She was impressed when Drakken shows power in "Cap'n Drakken". While aboard Warhok's spaceship, Shego denied being Dr. Drakken's "battle-mate", although the aliens commented that she appeared to be in denial.
In the end, Drakken and Shego's relationship is somewhat similar to that of the relationship of the show's protagonists, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable: At the end of the day, they need each other and work better together.
Señor Senior, Junior
Most notable among Shego's secondary clients was her sporadic partnership with Señor Senior, Junior, for whom she was hired to instruct in the ways of villainy. Although Junior's laziness seriously tried her patience at first, he was a surprisingly quick study and Shego eventually admitted to enjoying teaching him. However, Junior's father, Señor Senior, Senior, regretted his decision to hire Shego, as Junior enjoyed working with Shego more than he did with his own father, something that Senior appeared to hold a grudge over.
Likewise, Señor Senior, Junior gained a deep respect for Shego, both as his teacher and a highly effective partner in crime. She expressed gratitude toward Junior for breaking her out of prison to help him commit a series of crimes in honor of his father's birthday, despite being confused on why he broke her out of prison at first.
Mrs. Lipsky
Drakken's mother, Mrs. Lipsky, seems to be one of the few people who earned Shego's respect, as Shego never expressed her true nature toward her (even when she thought that she's Drakken's girlfriend), and even showed concern for her well-being when her son nearly left her behind on the train.
Shego also enjoys teasing Drakken about his mother. A few examples: When Mrs. Lipsky ask Drakken if he's too old to be playing with his Peter Puffer Puff toys, Shego commented that his mother has a point and calls him "Choo Choo Boy". Later, on the train, she tells Drakken that he's approaching a giant gorge by calling him "Peter Puffer Puff", which is the name of his toy train (which made him realized that she's loving the whole situation).
Enemies
Kim Possible
Shego and Kim fighting in "So the Drama".
Most of Shego and Kim's confrontations result in hand-to-hand combat. She constantly taunts Kim about her lack of fashion sense or whatever else she can think of, though Kim usually taunts her back in the same manner. She also taunts Kim about her youth, addressing her by childish nicknames, such as 'Kimmie', 'Princess', 'Cupcake', and 'Pumpkin'.
Shego holds a desire to defeat Kim in battle, a desire which borders on mania. The two typically attack each other within seconds of each meeting. She has uncharacteristically thrown caution to the wind, attacking both the alien Amazon Warmonga and a Dr. Drakken possessed by the evil spirit Black Eye Brown, when each was on the verge of destroying the crime-fighting cheerleader. In both incidents, Shego insisted the right to finish Kim was hers and hers alone. But, for two people so adamantly set on destroying each other, they never actually did any serious damage; despite the fact that we know they could kill each other if they tried. They even would have brief chats as they fought, usually banter in regards to the situation at hand, but other times saw the fights actually stopping. For instance, one time when both Shego and Kim could not find parking spaces during a robbery, after Ron stopped by to comment on his lack of success in finding such, they stopped fighting for a moment to comment on the lack of parking in the city before returning to fighting.
Even though Shego is Kim's rival, she seems to have a certain degree of fondness for her foe. For instance, she has openly declared that she and she alone will defeat her, thus she is willing to save Kim's life if someone else is about to take her out. She was occasionally willing to work with Kim if necessary, such as when she helped her defeat Warmonga and Warhok to stop them from taking over the Earth, and even earlier against Aviarius. They even became close, though temporary, friends in "Stop Team Go" when Shego became temporarily good by the Attitudinator. In that episode, upon reverting to her evil self, Shego seemed to reminisce over their friendship. On some level, Shego and Kim share a mutual respect for each other stemming from their rivalry.
While most people try to resist against Kim when she uses the puppy dog pout on them, Shego surprisingly seems most vulnerable, not even trying to fight Kim and instead immediately giving into her wishes when she used her puppy dog pout in order to ask her and Drakken to clean up the mess.
Ron Stoppable
Shego confronts Ron almost every time when Kim is around. Unlike Kim, Shego most often tends to ignore Ron, and like Drakken, doesn't call him by his name, rather as "the sidekick"; it's not clear if it is that she also can't remember his name, or if she just doesn't care. Shego seems to not bother with Ron due to his bumbling personality, though at times, she does remark on how him and Kim together actually make an effective team. Ron also seemed to use to have a brief attraction to Shego when he first saw her as a wanted criminal in one of the first season episodes.
Although Shego is usually fearless, Ron seems to be the only person who can actually make Shego show fear at certain points. Something that nobody else or any other villain had ever been able to do, as he got her scared two times. For instance:
- In "A Sitch in Time", when Ron found out that Future Shego and her time traveling was the reason why he and his parents moved to Norway and why he was forced to eat Meat Cakes, he became angry about it and the destruction of his favorite restaurant, which made Shego actually show fear for a moment for the first time in their confrontation.
- In the episode "Bad Boy", when Ron was under the influence of the Attitudinator, Shego was so impressed by his evil persona that she abandoned Drakken, just so she could work with the Evil Ron. She soon later regretted working with Evil Ron, when she quickly found herself once again in the role of a sidekick as Evil Ron tells her that she's "just the hired help", as his ego would allow nothing less, and he had the technology to render her powers useless against him. But unlike her partnership with Dr. Drakken, the relationship and partnership with Evil Ron was that of fear, as he was able to keep her from constantly being sarcastic by threatening to dump her in a shark tank, genuinely scaring her into submission.
Ron has also earned Shego's respect at certain points. In "Graduation", when Drakken and Kim got adducted by Warmonga and Warhok's spaceship, Shego and Ron teamed up together to save them, and stop the alien warriors. When Ron single-handedly defeated Warhok and Warmonga with Mystical Monkey Power, Shego was shocked and astonished, commenting "The sidekick just stepped up, monkey-style."
Rivals
Warmonga
Warmonga earned Shego's contempt when she appeared out of nowhere and replaced her as Dr. Drakken's sidekick, which made Shego jealous and disapproves of. It grew even worse, when Warmonga refused to mock Drakken despite his apparent buffoonery. Finally, she gladly made Warmonga her enemy, when she nearly defeated Kim Possible and when Drakken said that "Warmonga IS better than her," by rubbing it in her face, and cited she will be the one to defeat her. This was the only time Shego felt jealous was when Warmonga proved to be better at defeating Kim than her to where she basically attacked Warmonga just because she wanted to be the one to destroy Kim. She may have also been jealous at that time when Drakken liked having Warmonga as a sidekick more than her when he said "Warmonga is better than you".
During their second encounter, they remembered each other clearly, sharing an equal contempt to one another. Along with Team Possible and Drakken, Shego fought against Warmonga and her leader Warhok to save the world.
Love Interest
Shego has demonstrated a habit of picking up muscular males with deep tans at resorts.
Steve Barkin
During her time as Miss Go, Shego has shown an interest in Steve Barkin. Neither of these relationships held her interest for long, although she seemed somewhat touched when Barkin visited her at the lair, until he started singing for her, which involved her pressing a button that would attack him with dogs and electric shocks.
Martin Smarty
Shego briefly showed interest in Martin Smarty, although this had more to do with him being one of the five wealthiest men on the planet, than an emotional connection. When Shego found out he has a son, she lost her interest in Martin Smarty and left his house.
Dr. Drakken
Shego and Drakken at the end of "Graduation".
In the series finale, during Drakken's award ceremony for their part in saving the world, there was some strong hinting that Shego and Dr. Drakken might somewhat have feelings for one another. This is probably because they had been working together for so long and Drakken is the only man Shego is so close with. However, later at the coffee shop where all the villains are at and Drakken is talking with Professor Dementor, Shego was nowhere to be seen with the others, and there is no actual confirmation if they became an official couple.
Professional
Throughout the course of the series, Shego has (temporarily) teamed up with several villains, both with and without Dr. Drakken. Those villains include: Señor Senior, Junior and Señor Senior, Senior, DNAmy, Motor Ed, Hank Perkins, Frugal Lucre, Duff Killigan, and Monkey Fist. Out of the other villains she has worked with, only Señor Senior, Junior has earned Shego's respect. Junior's father originally hired Shego to tutor him in villainy. Despite after a rough start, Shego eventually found that Junior is actually a good listener, and they grew rather close as a mentor and student. They teamed up once more for Señor Senior, Senior's birthday, still showing a clear respect for each other.
Although Shego prefers to work as a hired hand, she is the only villain in the series to actually succeed in taking over the world, with the assistance from a magical time monkey and careful planning and support from her future self. In the possible future world, known simply as "The Future", Shego is known as "The Supreme One" and ruled the world with a cruel yet lazy hand. Notably, however, in this timeline, it also saw her fall into the classic villain clichés, which present time Shego would otherwise pointedly avoid, by acting uncharacteristically to herself. Such as relying on her minions to fight her enemies, despite retaining her combat skills, and when she was persuaded by Drakken, gloating to defeating enemies instead of following her normal preference for the "direct approach".
Motor Ed
Motor Ed's tendency to underestimate and belittle women, constantly gets him in trouble around Shego, who would not hesitate to blast him. But Motor Ed actually seemed to like Shego beating him up, so this only fueled his already obvious attraction to her.
In "Car Alarm", Shego puts up with him only for as long as their current scheme demanded, or at least, until he irritated her by saying that she's an accessory, to the point where she could no longer stand working with him.
Evil Ron
While under the influence of the Attitudinator, Ron Stoppable's evil persona was so impressive that Shego abandoned Drakken just so she could work with Ron. She soon later regretted working with Evil Ron, when she quickly found herself once again in the role of sidekick, as Evil Ron tells her that she's "just a hired help", as Evil Ron's ego would allow nothing less, and he had the technology to render her powers useless against him. But unlike her partnership with Dr. Drakken, the relationship with Evil Ron was that of fear, as he was able to keep her from constantly being sarcastic by threatening to dump her in a shark tank, genuinely scaring her into submission, something that nobody else or any other villain had ever been able to do.
Frugal Lucre
Shego's sole interest in Frugal Lucre was that he was incredibly annoying, and more importantly, that he was especially annoying to and fixated on Drakken. She even coached him on the best way to get on Drakken's nerves, under the guise of telling him things that Drakken liked, that he actually dislikes.
Shego's plan to annoy Drakken by bringing Lucre aboard somewhat backfired, as Drakken decided to make Lucre his apprentice when they started bonding, although they still bickered fairly often.
