This may be picayune, but did the show *ever* mention any name for the twins other than "Jim and Tim"? (no)

Sure we know that Mr Dr Possible is "James Timothy", and yes, it makes sense that the boys share his names.  *However*, as far as we know they could literally be just "Jim" and "Tim" (a common practice in the South to use diminutives as Forenames). OR could be short for similar but not exact names, such as "Jamie or Jamey" and "Timo, Timofey, Timothé, or Timtholomew" (yes, actual names; plus, remember Mr Dr P is a sci-fi fanboy, "Timofey" could be an allusion to any in-verse expy, such as the middle name of a starship captain ("Commander Jamey Timofey Kane") or the homeworld of a time traveling surgeon ("They call me the Surgeon. Just, the 'Surgeon'. From Timofey."))(examples mine)

You make a very good point. I have a cousin named Dru, and it is not short for Andrew. It is simply Dru. Not all diminutive names are short for something and as a source based as much as possible on canon we should reflect this.
Does anyone else have any thoughts or concerns about this? Because, if I don't hear any replies to the contrary in a couple of weeks, I say that the article be renamed and all references to them being referred to as James or Timothy be expunged from the article.
